Music is in your life, Music is in your heart!

Music is in our lives whether we like it or not.

Two of the most interesting questions I've ever asked myself is how did music begin and where did it actually come from? 

Music goes back to prehistoric times. Early humans figured out how to make sounds by blowing in hollow pieces of wood or banging things together. Eventually, stringed instruments were created from bits of vine or animal gut. Drums were advanced using animal skins as well.

Since then humans started playing the sounds and combining them into something unique that we now  call the song. This activity then transformed into many various songs that later became a great music industry with different types of songs.  There are such types as  Instrumental, Rap, Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock, Indie Rock,  Hard Rock, Dubstep, House, Blues, Jazz, and Orchestra music.

This  great industry started having a great impact on people life in the society.
For  example, in the 70s there started to appear such bands as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Aerosmith, The Eagles, and AC/DC. These bands were mostly consisting of guitarists, drummer and singer/ soloist. Members of these bands were quite talented and made a great furor on public. Their songs were a combination of Indie and Hard Rock styles. Their music, including lyrics and style,created an impact on the public that eventually  changed society.

But as we know, our life changes almost every minute and every year we live is slightly different from the previous one. Later, 80s  rock was heavily influenced by MTV. The corporations chose better looking artists to put in music videos on MTV, and sacrificed the talent. Therefore, artists who could also dance, such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince and others emerged, leaving the poets such as Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, and those who weren't too physically attractive to become less popular.  In my opinion, atractivness of performers became more important than their talent to perform. In  the 80s a great amount of attention went into style and physical condition/atraktivness of the body of the artist. In retrospect, we now see what a great impact the music industry had on everything: values, views, belifes, fashion and life style.

The most developed countries that were producing pop and rock music in the 80s were the  USA and  England. In the 90s that changed. More countries started being interested in producing the same type of music but in their own langueages. So in the  90s Russia introduced to the public such bands as  Laskoviy May (Tender May), Combinacia (Combination) and many others  that had a similar style as American Pop Music. Another great example is Canadian World famous Indie Rock band Yellow Tape(1991).

Along with all these changes, music began occupying positions in our daily life. How many times do you listen to  music every day? AT LEAST ONE!  For example on the radio, TV, on the street, at Sturbucks, I Pad, CD and so on. 

Does it have an influence on you these days? ABSOLUTELY!

Music influences the way you dress, the way you do your make up , your values or beliefs, your praticipation or role in the society, jokes you say, your daily schedule and  even what you are eating.  We are trying to look like our idols because they define the style of dress, make up, proportions of our body and  even the style  of our  life. Even if do not think we are being influenced, we are...

I interviewed my friends whose age range is from 14 to 23 years old. I recorded these interviews on my camera and then combined them by creating a short film that is called "Music is in Your Life, Music is in Your Heart!  In this video students and teachers of Nancy Campbell Coligate Institute ( London,Ontario) share their views on music and its contribution to their life. 

There are so many proofs (that you already discovered by just reading this article) that music has a great impact on almost every aspect of our life, but there is one more question left that is also important to consider. The question is" How does music Influences you?" 

Music could inflence you in a good way or in a bad way. 

For example, there are songs that promote disgracefull and degrating style of life. If you listen to the song "Girls on the Dance Floor" by Far East Movement, you will hear such phrases as " Girl you know what it is, follow me to the floor, you could bring your friends, they could drink a little more". Correctly picked chords and beats make people listen to it  without thinking about the meaning and message of the song. But how does it actually influence you from just listening to it? 

By listening to this song you would want to go to the club, then drink, then 'drink a little more' and then that would result in  1st short term- nausea and 2nd long term- alcoholic/drugs adiction. But there is also a good influence that music can have on you. For example, there is a  song "Stand Up to Cancer" by all the most famous pop singers of our time, that promotes an idea of standing up to cancer and was made to raise money to help  fight cancer. By creating and introducing this song to the public, the organization that greated this event raised 1 million dollars. 

Questions that you were curious about are answered. Music comes from a while ago and in many different forms. Music influences you every single day of your life even more then you might be thinking. Music influences you in a good way or in a bad way, it all depends on you;)

My role as a bloger is to send the messege and share the information that I have discovered for you, My Reader, to understand that there are more things that influence you then you think. 

I hope that after reading this article you would start giving a greater amout of attention to things around you and to use your life wisely!;)

Dillema 

Today in the Media Arts Class we talked about two simple questions as it  may seem. We starter free-write about the possible answers and thoughts that we came up with.  Many people had different answers and they were not wrong. There are many answers to those questions because everyone understands  the sence of them differently. As many people as many thoughts. But if you actually think about all those answers you could combine all of them in one. Our  teacher stold us tha on the weeked  he had a trip to Toronto to the Music Production Studio and there he met the man that asked him those 2 questions. Our teacher came up with many idias but again all of them were close but were not the answer. . Then the man said to him an answer that made all of us to admire. As creator, performer or an artist what is your function in society?VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS...What is the difference between an amateur and professional?COMMITMENT TO COMMUNICATE ...

Svetlana Bondarchuk (Rudskaya) was born on December 17th 1968 in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from Moscow State Institute of Culture and received a master of sports of fencing.  

Now Svetlana is a model, businesswoman, the owner of PR agency, and Chief Editor of the world famous magazine 'Hello'. 

Svetlana Bondarchuk is married to film director Fyodor Bondarchuk for over 20 years. Svetlana also has 2 children Sergey and Varvara. 

YES!wE ALL HAVE A HARD TIME:(

Yes. We all have a hard time. It is the part of our life. There are always different reasons for that. Difficulties with the boyfriend, friends or family. But however we should not give up!  It is hard to realize how BEAUTIFUL LIFE IS when you are having a bad time. But when you have that such difficult time just try to get to something else..try to take care about yourself...go shopping or do your nails, experiment with your make up or hair and etc. Go to the market and buy many- many sweet things there...chocolate or an icecream and forget about you diet. Try to play with the kids, or talk to close to you people. Try to go out for a walk or for a coffee. Life could be difficult sometimes but we have to fight that!

YOUR PERSONAL STYLE GUIDE

Style one of the most interesting things that people have in their life.  Style is the form of expression. By style people can express them self..their feelings, mood, and etc. For example when people are feeling happy they try to wear something very bright..such as bright orange or pink. 

Many people around the world have different style. For example if you look at American style and Asian style you can tell the difference. It is very interesting to see many different styles from each part of the world.  Lets take a look at the most popular styles from different countries.

USA

The USA style is very interesting itself and  has a lot of sport and comfy clothes in it.  Most important thing you should know about  American style is that it  should be loose. American style consists of pretty much any colours! If you want to try an American style you have to have a t-shirt with a print, jean shorts with holes, jean shirt,  leather/jean jacket, big sweater (so if you for example have small size you should buy the sweater large size).

 Accesories are also performed. There are main accesories that you should have such as watch( Aldo/Guess/Juicy couture),  belt ( brown & massive), big bag( any colour) and etc.
If you want to buy stuff for American style my suggestion would be Wildfox Couture. For my Russian audience I would advice Heaven-store..they also ve got much stuff that related to American style;)

CANADA

So many people in the world think that Canada does not have it's own style, but if get to see Canadian you can see that this country also has its own style. 

Canadian style attributes  are warm outwear, leather boots/uggs, scarf, sweater, socks, jeans,  sweatpants, and leather bag. Also I did not find many Canadian girls wearing a lot of accesorise but just some earrings or modest nacklace would be fine. 

One of the most popular Canadian brands is Roots Canada. In their stores you can get many attributes of Canadian style. They sell stuff such as warm outwears, socks( very Canadian), sweatpants, leather boots and etc. Take a  look at their web-page to see what stuff they have;)

EUROPE
European style is slightly different from both Canadian and American styles.  It is very exquisite and has a lot of classic elements in it.  Colours are mostly dark (main colours are black and white),  but of corse other colours are performed also. If you want to have Europian style you have to have black leggings, classical shoes, sweater( any colour) and black classical outwear. Also for accessories you could have a bag (any colour, but try to relate the colour of your bag to colour of your sweater for contrast), massive ring, and necklaces ( but not too massive /modest).

If you need place where you wanna buy the stuff for your Europian style my suggestion would be Maison Scoth. It is Amsterdam-based fashion brand  that has very Europian motifs.

RUSSIA

Russian style has many similarities with Europian style but still has its own side. Russian girls really like wearing many brends such as Louis Vuitton, D&G, Marc& Co, Guess and etc, so girls in Russian are trying to follow fashion and its standarts. Russian style consists of many colours...but the main are gray, black, white, red, and blue. If you want to comply Russian style your clothes should always be clean( no stains:), and stroked. This is one of featres of Russian style. Also you should always check the new collections of fashion designers to be aware of new things.

Main attributes for Russian style are long skirt( any colour) , top( not too bright colour) or t-shirt ( could be with print), sweater, and high heels. For accessorise could be little bag Chanel/Louiss Vuitton (most popular), massive necklace,earrings, or ring.
 If you want to buy stuff for Russian style my advice would be ZARA. In this store you would find the stuff that you need!;)

UK

UK style reminds me of American style but it has some more laxity in it. In this style you would find many cutouts ( on tops and t-shirts), holes on jean shorts/ pants or pantyhose. Also people in UK  like to play with many colours...their close could have bright yellow, blue, red, black, and white at the same time. So if in Russia girls are trying to keep their clothes accurate and stroked..girls in UK are trying to make it more unkempt, gruff, and colourfull. I could compare it to Rock-N-Roll style. UK girl attributes are Rock-N-Roll hat(black), jean/black shorts (could be woth holes), t-shirt or blouse (any colour), massive boots, and big bag.

Also girls in UK like to play with accessories ...massive necklaces, rings, earrings, and etc.  And always remember for the UK style  as brighter your look is as more stylish you are.
To buy stuff for the UK style my suggestion would be River Island. It is a british brand of chothes so they've got a lot of things you need;)

ASIA

Asian style is slightly different from any of styles I've told you about. In Asia they have their own style that would probably seem strange to non Asian people. Their style has many bright elements and colours. It mostly consists of yellow, bright pink, white, black, red clours. The stuff that they wear is quit unusual and cool!:)  For example boots on platform:)

Atributes of Asian style are cute hoodies/ t-shirts, sweaters( bright colours), skirt( short), boots on platform or normal shoes, jean shorts,and outwear jacket.  For  accessorise you could have watch (my suggestion would be brand Guess or MK), earrings ( could be any brands..just make sure it looks cute), necklace( also any brand but sould look cute) little bag (any colour) and etc.

 Person that inspires ME
I have my inspirtation from top model Elisa Sednaoui. She was born in Italy where she started her carier and then move to France. Now she live in New York and continues her carier there.
She has a very interesting style..it is mostly Europian but also some a little bit of American. Her clothes mostly consists of black colour.
I personaly find it very interesting and specific..it looks very affective and atractive.
