Breaking News Interview Experience

On Thursday September 13th me and my co-worker Carmel went to interview people around Down Town area in London,Ontario. We asked many people about what news are in the world and what their sources are.

We found out that not many females are watching the news. This fact was very surprising for me because I was expecting that there would be more females interested in news and things that happen in the world. They explained that they do not watch the news because they do not want to be affected by sad things that happen in the world around them.

However males are more interested in world news and gave us many interesting answers.

When we got back to the class we also were collecting the sources data. By the end of the class we found that most popular source at this days is the internet , some people  don't even use their TV to watch the news. I've been told by people that they find the news on their Twitter, Facebook, websites, and etc.

After collecting the data we had a sort of meeting where we were sharing our stories and experience. I heard many stories where people were being rude to my classmates or were pushing them away.  In my story I did not have anything like this, people were being nice to me and my co-worker and even if they did not have any time they were very polite and friendly.

I could also notice that I had chance to interview people of different ages so, it was good for me to work with different types of people.

I  think that it was a very good experience for me to interview people. I learned how to communicate with unknown to me people in a right way and also how to work in a group. I hope to have more experience in the future and hope it would be that fun as well:)
